Woodland Fitness Center Mural, Completato

About two months ago, I was approached by the new owners of our local gym to redesign and handpaint the smoothie bar area to better match their awesome protein shake offerings and to add an energetic look to the space. I said "yes!" and set to work to create a fresh look that they would love. Legend has it that there actually had been an espresso machine in commission at the time the original mural was painted, but that's ancient history, so it was definitely time for a facelift. Friday Night Creative Chill: Mosaic Serving Trays

This Friday Night Creative Chill thing is really getting to me.  After two weeks, I'm fairly hooked; I'm hooked on you, Woodland Park! So far, the people, the projects, and the experience have been so positive and soul-enriching that I'm starting to wonder how Teller County functioned on these certain Friday nights without this Creative Chill event.  When you combine Cabernet Sauvignon (or Chardonnay or a perfectly sweet and sociable White Zin...) with art and music and some Edison bulbs and... like, sandalwood lavender aromatherapy, you make magic.
